Werner Mathias GROSS
Werner M. Gross, 64, of Kenosha, passed away Friday, February 2nd, 2007, at his home with his family at his side. Born on November 2, 1942, in Kenosha, he was the son of Adolph and Dorothy (Uelmen) Gross. On June 30, 1962, he married Patricia Schnaare in Elkhorn, WI. Before his retirement in April of 2000, he was employed by Diamler/Chrysler as a skilled tradesman. Werner was employed there for over 32 years. He was a car and NASCAR enthusiast, a member of Kenosha Car Club, and a former member of International Aerospace Workers and Machinist Union. When he wasn't at work he was busy caring for his grandchildren which he looked forward to everyday. Since his retirement, he has enjoyed going out to breakfast every Thursday morning followed by a road trip with his brothers and friends. He is survived by his wife Patti; three daughters, Elizabeth Gonzalez of Kenosha, Michelle (James) Pflug of Salem, and Jo Ann (Todd) Bucko of Kenosha; three brothers, Milton, Bernard (Sally), Brian (Karen) Gross, all of Kenosha; seven sisters, Dorothy (George) Winkelmann of Kenosha, Adelphia (Robert) Scaman of Bristol, Edna Hucker of Burlington, Noreen (Robert) Horton of Silver Lake, Marilyn (Steven) Butowski of Genoa City, Deborah (Steven) Kannin of Paddock Lake, and Theresa Gross of Kenosha; six loving grandchildren, Christine and Jessica Bucko, Maria and Selena Gonzalez, and Kyle and Joey Pflug. He is further survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Gross, and brother-in-law, Earl Neu. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Leon, and a sister, Arleen Neu. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 7th, at Proko Funeral Home at 10:00 am. Mass to be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church at 10:30 am. Internment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Tuesday at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
