Mildred V. PETERS
Mildred V. Peters, 85, of Kenosha, passed away Sunday, January 14th, 2007, at her home. Born in Kenosha on January 26, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Elizabeth (Kappler) Campbell. She Was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School and attended St. Therese School of Nursing in Waukegan, IL. She spent most of her life in Kenosha; for a short time she lived in Waukegan, returning to Kenosha in 1959. In 1949, she married Ervin Peters in Waukegan. He preceded her in death on November 8, 1971. She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church. Mildred loved her family, animals, chocolate, and was an avid reader, keeping up on current events. Surviving are two daughters, Beverly Peters and Carol Peters both of Kenosha; two grandchildren, Heather and Sheila Womack; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard "Buzzie" Campbell, and a sister, Verta DeBartelo. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 18th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 am. Mass to be celebrated at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
