To the Ritacca Family,Please accept my deepest sympathy. I remember fondly my days working with Kay along with Pete, Kim and also with Chris Manna at the Dutch Maid when I was at Bradford in the early and mid 70's. In recent years I would see her sitting on her front porch and seeing her at mass at Holy Rosary. After all these years, she still remembered me. What a remarkable memory and wonderful lady. She is sadly missed.Irene Buswell Niccolai

I am the daughter of Lettie (Shipman) Aker, grand daughter of Philomena Shipman (she was cousin to Rose Cerminara), Niece of Catherine Hughes (she was Philomena's sister and a cousin to Rose Cerminara). That makes me fourth cousin or cousin twice removed? When I was a teenager, I was a weekly customer of the Dutch Maid. I loved that place and visiting with the staff! In 1984 I moved away from Kenosha to central Wisconsin. I saw Katherine's obit online as I check the Kenosha News. I am so sorry to hear this. My sincere condolences to the family.
