Gail Stueck, 57, of Kenosha, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 9th, 2007. Born on August 7, 1949, in Waukegan, IL, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Doris (Hornbogen) Blanchard. She was educated in the schools of Zion, IL, and moved to Kenosha in 1986. She worked as a school bus driver in Zion while studying nursing at the College of Lake County. She married Dale DuPree and later married Richard Stueck. Gail was a former member of First Assembly of God in Zion, IL. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, traveling, camping and spending time with her family. Surviving are a son, Jeff Stueck of Kenosha; two daughters, Wendi Barrueta of Kenosha and Jeanne (Keith) Williams of Zion, IL; her ex-husband, Richard Stueck of Madison; three sisters, Sandy (Sam) Hicks of Murray, KY, Peggy (Robert) Byczynski of Murray, KY, and Linda (Frank) Orr of Winthrop Harbor, IL; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first ex-husband, Dale DuPree; a grandson, Michael Fugate; and her son-in-law, Juan Barrueta. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 12th, at Proko Funeral Home at 4:00 pm. Visitation will be on Friday at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until the time of the service.
