Sam was a very kind man. He will be missed, I know him from riding the buses and the street car. We had made small little bets when ever the Bears and the Packers played against each other. He loved his Bears. The Kenosha Transit lost a good driver. My thoughts and prayers are with your family, God Bless you.

I knew Sam as the streetcar driver. He was, in my opinion, the best driver. I only wish I had taken the time to take another ride with him when I had seen he was back on the route, it must have been in the fall. I was very saddened and shocked to read of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Sam was one of the kindest souls we knew. Our son, Seth, is 9 and has autism. He loves that trolley. Sam was always so patient with Seth and loved seeing him. He will truly be missed in our lives. What a kind, sweet and gentle man who was proud to live here and of this city. We will miss him terribly.
