Edward W. Hinds, 73, of Kenosha, passed away on Friday, December 29th, 2006, at Brookside Care Center. Born on April 21, 1933, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Lillian (Barns) Hinds. He was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and was educated in local schools. On July 6, 1957, he married Lenore Giacomin at First Evangelical United Brethren Church in Kenosha. He was formerly employed as an oiler at American Brass for 32 years, until his retirement in May of 1985. Edward loved baseball, football, and was an avid bowler for many years, especially his Sunday AM League. He was an American history buff and a "Movie Trivia Buff". He is survived by his wife, Lenore of Pleasant Prairie; a daughter, Lynn (Fabio) Lugo of Kenosha; a son, Alan (Linda) Hinds of Kenosha; two sisters, Donna (Lloyd) Laabs and Doreen Cutlip, both of Kenosha; two brothers, Harold Hinds of Racine, and Robert (Joy) Hinds of Madison; four grandchildren, Angela and Ashley Lugo, and Ian and Andrew Hinds. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd, from Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Interment to be private.
