Ruth V. Borski, 83, of Kenosha, passed away Wednesday, November 8th, 2006, after a brief and heroic battle with cancer. Her daughter and granddaughter were by her side. Ruth was born on November 11, 1922, in Stevens Point, WI, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mabel (Erickson) Sether. On November 2, 1943, she married Vernon Borski in Los Angeles, CA. They returned to their hometown of Stevens Point in 1945. Ruth is survived by a daughter, Dianne Gorski of Kenosha; a granddaughter, Michelle (Marc) Delsman of Racine; and two great-grandchildren, Luke and Abigail Delsman. Above everything, Ruth loved to be around her great-grandchildren. She was known for her beautiful smile and was friendly to everyone who knew her. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon; brothers, Holman, Luther, Lester and Gilbert Sether; and sisters, Rachel Przybylski, Margaret Golla and Dorothy Coats. Visitation will be held at Proko Funeral Home on Saturday, November 11th, from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Funeral services will take place at Trinity Lutheran Church in Stevens Point on Monday, November 13, at 10:00 am with visitation at church from 9:00 am until the time of the service. Interment to follow at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Stevens Point.
