Naomi J. VISOKY
Naomi J. Visoky, 79, of Salem, passed away Wednesday, November 8th, 2006, at Alterra Clare Bridge in Kenosha. Born April 16, 1927, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Lydia (Kristopeit) Willer. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she graduated from Kenosha High School. She then attended nursing school, receiving a degree as a registered nurse. On August 27, 1970, she married William Visoky in Waukegan, IL. She had been a registered nurse at Kenosha Hospital and for Dr. Lewis Turner III. She later worked at Abbott Laboratories, retiring in 1986 after 19 years. She did volunteer work for the National Braille Association. Surviving are her husband, William of Salem; a daughter, Judie (George) Planey of Wadsworth, IL; a brother, Paul Willer of Rockford, IL; a granddaughter, Sarah (Jesus) Rea of Waukegan, IL; and two great-grandchildren, Rafael Mario and Gabriella Annelyse Rea, both of Waukegan, IL. She was preceded in death by a son, Todd Soer, and a sister, Judy Olson. Funeral services will be private at Proko Funeral Home.
