Dorothy L. Adelt, 93, of Kenosha passed away Saturday, October 28, 2006, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. Born November 21, 1912, in Chicago, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Hattie (Mau) Alther. She moved to Wisconsin as a child, returning to Illinois and attending Highland Park High School. On May 17, 1941, she married Rundoph P. Adelt in Deerfield, IL. They then moved to Kenosha to make their home. He passed away May 17, 1970. She was a L.P.N. at Kenosha Hospital, retired in 1972. She was a member of First Congregational Church, Crystal Rebekah Lodge of Milwaukee and Kenosha Senior Center and St. Mary's Friendly Center. Dorothy enjoyed traveling, reading and playing bridge. She is survived by a daughter Helen S. Adelt of Milwaukee, two sisters, Bernice Punke of Edgar, WI and Evelyn Siewert of Green Bay, WI. She was preceded in death by four brothers. Private Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 1st at Proko Funeral Home.
