Pearl L. RICHIE
Pearl L. Richie, 81, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, August 28th, 2006, at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie. Born in Kenosha on June 7, 1925, she was the daughter of the late William and Rose (Willems) Huck. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, and educated in local schools. On January 8, 1944, in Kenosha, she married Henry J. Richie. He passed away April 27, 1990. A member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and AARP, Pearl enjoyed her family and grandchildren, shopping, crocheting, knitting, and playing Domino's and Pinochle with her sisters and brother. She is survived by her six children, Henry (Eileen) Richie, Russell (Carol) Richie, Sandra (Stephen) Ulik, Linda (Robert) Helgesen, Randy (Connie) Richie and Tim (Joy) Richie; one brother and four sisters, Robert Huck, Elaine Goergen, Marion Flex, Joyce Lupi, and Shirley Burman; twenty-two grandchildren; and thirty-three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandsons, Scott Richie and Russell Schattschneider; and two sisters, Laverne Nelsen and Dorothy Huck. Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 1st, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 am. Mass to be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
