Samuel L. PULERA
Samuel L. Pulera, 65, went to be with Jesus August 23rd, 2006, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Sam was born June 10, 1941, to the late Frank and Josephine (Perri) Pulera. On September 28, 1963, he married Judith A. Leonard at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. He was a member of Friedens Ev. Lutheran Church. Sam was educated in Kenosha. He served in the US Army from January 16, 1961, until January 15, 1964. He worked at Jewel, the American Brass, and then at Chrysler where he retired in 1999. He was a proud father of five children and even prouder of his seven grandchildren and all the other children who called him Grandpa. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy; two daughters, Deena (Mark) Johnson and Alice (Louis) Aulozzi; three sons, Joseph (Traci) Pulera, Bradley Pulera, and Robert Pulera; and grandchildren, Vijay and Brandon Eschbach, Louis and Samantha Aulozzi, and Gregoire, Tori and Timothy Pulera. He is also survived by two brothers, Nicholas (Susan) Pulera and Randy (Patricia) Pulera; a sister, Sharon (Larry) Shilts; and numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws, along with his large extended family. Family all resides in Kenosha. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Gerald Pulera. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 26th, at Friedens Ev. Lutheran Church at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday at the Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and Saturday at the Church from 9:30 am until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Friedens Ev.
