Madeline SELIGA
Madeline "Madge" Seliga, 88, of Kenosha, passed away Tuesday, August 1st, 2006, at St. Joseph Hospital in Milwaukee. Born in Chicago, IL, on July 4, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Sara (Salerno) DeMarino. She came to Kenosha as a baby, receiving her education in local schools. On October 19, 1940, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, she married Vincent Seliga. He passed away August 4, 1988. She had been employed as a wrapper for Connolly Finer Foods, Jewel Foods and Piggly Wiggly Grocery Stores, retiring in 1980. Madge was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Meat Wrappers Union and St. Mary's Friendly Center. She was an avid Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs Fan. She is survived by a son, Vincent (Rita) Seliga, Jr. of Pleasant Prairie; two brothers, Kelly (Nancy) DeMarino of Kenosha, and Frank DeMarino of Trempealeau, WI; a grandchild, Janel (Jeff) Wamboldt of Pleasant Prairie; and a great-granddaughter, Taylor Wamboldt. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rose, in infancy. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 5th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 am. Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at St. George Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
