Doris K. Larson, 84, of Kenosha, passed away on Sunday, July 16th, 2006, at Kenosha Care Center. Born on January 23, 1922, in the Town of Delmar, WI, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Henrietta (Eslinger) Kuhn. She graduated from Stanley High School in Stanley, WI, and also from the Milwaukee School of Beauty in Eau Claire, WI. She had resided in Stanley, Chippewa Falls, and Racine before moving to Kenosha in 1989. On December 30, 1946, she married Glenn John Larson in Stanley. He preceded her in death in 1983. She was employed as a beautician for various beauty shops and retired from S.C. Johnson Beauty Lab in Racine in 1984. Doris was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, baking, dancing, walking, color crafts, traveling, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her three daughters, Michelle Nielsen of Kenosha, Jean (Hanns) Larson-Golez of Frankfurt, Germany, and Roxanne Schwaller of Ocala, FL; a sister, Marie (Gerald) Albrent of Green Bay, WI; two grandsons, Austin and Jordan Schwaller, both of Florida; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Wilman, and Melvin Kuhn. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 18th, at St. Mary Catholic Church at 11:30 am. Visitation will be held Tuesday at the church from 10:30 am until the time of the Mass. Entombment will be private at Holy Cross Cemetery in Racine.
