Irmgard L. Wilson, 78, of Kenosha, passed away Friday, July 21st, 2006, at Brookside Care Center. Born in Kenosha on April 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elly (Ermert) Ruebsamen. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she attended Friedens Evangelical Lutheran School, Milwaukee Lutheran High School and Gateway Technical College where she received her degree in library science. On January 11, 1947, she married Robert J. Wilson at Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church. She had been employed as a library technical assistant at the Kenosha Unified Schools, Instructional Media Center for 29 years, retiring in 1997. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church where she also taught Sunday school for many years. Surviving are her husband Robert of Kenosha; a son, Scott (Janine) Wilson of Kenosha; a daughter, Suzanne (Jeffrey) Mohr of Pleasant Prairie; a sister, Anita Lupi of Kenosha; two grandchildren, Eric and Emily Mohr; and also her sister-in-law, Isabelle (Dr. Glenn) Bacon of Harlingen, TX. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 24th, at Bethany Lutheran Church at 1:00 pm. Interment will be private at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday at Bethany Lutheran Church from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
