1929 ∼ 2006

Donald SEIDEMANN
Donald Seidemann, 76, of Kenosha, passed away Tuesday, July 11th, 2006, at United Hospital System-Kenosha Campus. He was born July 13, 1929 in Milwaukee, the son of the late Erwin R. and Janice M. (Lord) Seidemann. He came to Kenosha as a small boy and attended local schools. On May 7, 1949, he married his high school sweetheart, Rita Rondeau, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Kenosha. They had 57 loving years together. He retired as shop foreman of the Letterhead Dept of Badger Press in 1990. He was one of the last printers to hand set type. He had a zest for life, a wonderful sense of humor, making everyone who met him smile. Don and Rita built their home of 50 years, and Don helped his father build a beautiful lakeside home in Lac du Flambeau, WI, that the family enjoyed for many years. He also was the envy of the neighborhood for his well cared for lawn and flower gardens. He was Rita's faithful caregiver for the past 13 years. He was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church, an usher at St. Mark's, as well as many volunteer efforts for the parish over the past 50 years, and was also a past member of the former Eagles Club. His hobbies included gardening, woodworking and a love of music. Win or lose, he was there for the Green Bay Packers, too. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rita of Kenosha; his loving daughter, Patricia Lynne (Tom) Tunney of Naples, FL; his seven grandchildren of whom he was so proud, Stephanie (Eric Frisch) Frye, Amy Frye, Daniel Frye, Jeffery Frye, Clinton Sokolski, Bree Seidemann and Lance Seidemann; and his former son-in-law, Deacon Patrick H. Frye of Sturtevant, WI. He was preceded in death by a son, Bruce D. Seidemann, and a brother, Kenneth R. Seidemann. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 16th, at Proko Funeral Home from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. Private burial services will be held at All Saints Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Kidney Center at St. Catherine's Medical Campus or the Charity of Ones Choice would be appreciated by the family.Proko Funeral Home & Crematory5111-60th StreetKenosha, WI 53144Phone: (262) 654-3533www.prokofuneralhome.com
