Irene E. Parry, 83, of Kenosha, passed away Saturday, July 1st, 2006, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital. Born on August 5, 1922, in Merrill, WI, she was the daughter of the late William and Florence (Nelson) Braasch. She graduated from high school in Watersmeet, MI, attended Lake College of Commerce in Waukegan, IL, and moved to Kenosha from Waukegan in 1946. On December 13, 1946, she married John Lawson Parry at the First Methodist Church in Waukegan. She worked for Cyclone Fence in North Chicago, Ration Board in Waukegan, and the Leader Store in Kenosha, retiring in 1982. Irene was a member of the Christian Reformed Church in Kenosha. She is survived by her husband, John Lawson of Kenosha; a son, Karl Jon (Rhonda) Parry of Kohler, WI; and two brothers, Raymond Braasch of Minnesota, and Milton (Jeanette) Braasch of New London, WI. A brother, William B. Braasch, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 5th, at the Proko Funeral Home at 7:00 pm. Interment to be private. Visitation will be held on Wednesday at Proko Funeral Home fro 5:00 pm until the time of the service.
