Carl J. Perkins, 92, of Kenosha, died on Saturday, June 24th, 2006, at Hospice House. Born May 21, 1914, in Macon, MO, he was the son of the late Walter and Margaret (Barton) Perkins. He came to Kenosha as a young boy and resided here since. He graduated from Kenosha High School in 1933. On September 11, 1937, he married Mildred Thomas. Carl worked at American Brass for 39 years until his retirement in 1974. Carl enjoyed golfing and was an avid reader. He was a member of the Elks Club, Bradford Alumni Association and Management Club at American Brass. He is survived by his wife, Mildred; three children, Carole (James) Johnson of Antioch, IL, Ron Perkins of Columbia, MD, and Jean (Rudy) Becker of Pleasant Prairie, WI; three grandchildren, Deborah (Becker) Granger, Kristine (Becker) Winkelmann, and Jeffrey Johnson; and five great-grandchildren, Emily and Sydney Granger, Danielle and Edward Winkelmann, and Jacob Johnson. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, June 27th, at the Proko Funeral Home at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at Proko Funeral Home from 11:00 am until the time of service.
