Robert Bernard Christensen, 70, of Kenosha, passed away, Friday, June 23rd, 2006, at his residence. Born on February 6, 1936, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late James and Elizabeth (Neu) Christensen. He attended local schools. On July 8, 1961, he married Gloria J. Manna at Holy Rosary Parish. Robert severed in the United States Army from 1954 until 1956. Robert worked at AMC for 11 years and then worked at Komatsu America Corporation for 29 years retiring in 1998. Robert was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, where he was a Liturgical Minister; he also was a life member of the NRA and Local UAW. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; five children, Karin (Robert) Meade of Paris, WI, Kevin Christensen of Evergreen, CO, Robin (Mark) Marzahl of Burlington, WI, Randy Christensen of Seneca, WI, and Robert A. Christensen of Paris, WI; two brothers, William (Nancy) Christensen of Kenosha and Vernon (Karen) Christensen of Bristol; and four grandchildren, Sarah and Michael Meade, and Nicholas and Daniel Marzahl. He is preceded in death by a brother, James Christensen. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, June 26th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 am. Mass to be celebrated at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at St. George Cemetery.
