Fiorino Ruffolo, 79, of Kenosha, died on Friday, June 23rd, 2006, at St. Joseph Home for the Aged. Born on October 13, 1926, in Marano Marchesato, Cosenza, Italy, he was the son of the late Francesco and Angelina (Serpe) Ruffolo. He attended schools in Italy. On August 20, 1950, in Marano Marchesato, Cosenza, Italy, he married Virginia Elvera Covelli. He worked at Simmons and Le Blanc. He was a machinist at Eaton Dynamatic for 21 years, retiring in 1986. Fiorino was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, Italian American Society, International Association of Machinists, Aerospace Workers (IAMAW) Lodge 34, and an Honorary Deputy Sheriff. He also enjoyed gardening, playing cards and spending time with his family and friends. Fiorino is survived by his wife, Virginia Elvera; a son, John M. Ruffolo of Kenosha; a daughter, Linda (Bryan) Hantke of Pleasant Prairie; a grandson, Peter Hantke; and three brothers, Enrico (Taresa) Ruffolo of Toronto, Canada, Domenico Ruffolo of Kenosha and Emilio (Gilda) Ruffolo of Kingston, Canada. Preceding him in death were three sisters, Maria Serpe, Gelsomina Conforti, and Ida Vulnera; and six brothers, Luigi, Leopoldo, Antonio, Carmine (Santo), Giacomino and Pietro Ruffolo. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 27th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 am. Mass to be celebrated at St. Therese Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
