Katie Gaal, 93, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away Thursday, June 15th, 2006, at Carey Manor. Born in Kenosha on January 2, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Olga Tomm. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she attended Frieden's Evangelical Lutheran School. She had been employed at Jockey International for a number of years and later at Brown National Bank, which is now Bank One, until her retirement in 1979. She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. Surviving are a son, Gregory (Mette) Gaal of Pleasant Prairie; a daughter-in-law, Judith Gaal of Kenosha; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Robert Gaal; a brother, Harold Tomm; a sister, Clara Gerzel; and a great-grandson, Bodie. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 19th, at Mt. Zion Lutheran Church at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Monday at Mt.
