James Nells Madison, 69, of Kenosha, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at United Hospital Systems-Kenosha Campus. Born in Kenosha on August 29, 1936, he was the son of the late Ralph J. and Carmella (Marnelli) Madison. He was a lifelong resident of Kenosha, educated in local schools. On July 11, 1970, at St. Anthony Catholic Church, he married Delores Gray. She passed away January 23, 2001. He was in the United States Army from August 11, 1959, until his honorable discharge in August 10, 1961. He had been employed as a machinist and forklift driver at the American Brass Co. for 44 years. He was a member of Steel Workers Local #9322. Surviving are a son, Michael (Cleda) Gray of Baraboo, WI; a daughter, Laura (Harry) Beutler of Manitowoc, WI; a sister, Janet (Ralph) Greco of Kenosha; eight grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10th, at Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Private interment at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
