Ann M. Gray, 78, of Kenosha, passed away on Monday, May 15th, 2006, at St. Catherine's Medical Center in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Born on March 31, 1928, in Egg Harbor, WI, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Ann (Roy) Manney. She was a 1945 graduate of Sevastopol Institute where she was the Valedictorian and Prom Queen. She moved to Kenosha in 1958 to make her home. In 1950, she married Eugene Gray in Door County. He preceded her in death. She was employed as a secretary for the Door County Court House, Attorney. Herb Johnson in Door County, National Tea and at the A & P in Kenosha, a secretary at Carthage College, and most recently a manager at Rudy's North in Franksville, retiring in 2004. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Ann enjoyed many crafts, knitting, crocheting, sewing and gardening. She loved her dogs and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. Surviving are a daughter, Linda Gray and a son, Paul (Jill) Gray, both of Kenosha; two sisters, Mary Manney of Kenosha and Joyce (Earl) Shaw of California; two grandchildren, Gina (J.R.) Litkey and Jamie Gray; and a great-granddaughter, Ava Gray Litkey. She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Gray; a brother, Benjamin Manney; and a sister, Lois Heilman. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, May 18th, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 6:00 pm. Visitation will be held on Thursday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church from 4:00 pm until the time of services.
