Marina Hernandez, 51, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, May 15th, 2006, at Sheridan Medical Complex. Born in Ciduad Hidalgo, Michoacan, Mexico, on March 3, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Santiago and Paula (Patino) Hernandez. She was educated in the schools of Mexico. In 1975 she moved to Racine and in 1983 she came to Kenosha where she has resided since. She had been employed at A & E Manufacturing in Racine for seven years. Since 1993, she owned and operated various restaurants/bars in Kenosha, most notably Jessenia's Nightclub. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church. Marina enjoyed crocheting, sewing, music and playing poker. Surviving are three sons, Maclovio Vega of Milwaukee, Jaime Vega of Bethesda, MD, and Javier Vega of Kenosha; a daughter, Jessenia Arroyo of Kenosha; and eleven brothers and sisters, Jovita, Trinidad, Carlos, Ma. Estela, Gonzalo, and Navor all of Mexico, and Esther, Guadalupe, Juana, Pilar and Manuel all of the Kenosha. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jaime. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 19th, at St. Mark's Catholic Church at 11:00 am.
