Mary Jean Mastronardi, 70, of Kenosha, passed away Sunday, April 23rd, 2006, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee. Born Aug. 11, 1935, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Rosena (Vona) Mastronardi. Although she lived most of her life in Kenosha, she also lived in several other states. She was educated in local schools. She had been employed at Great Lakes Naval Base from 1975 until 1985. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and attended Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Zion, IL, was a wonderful cook of Italian Cuisine and enjoyed playing bingo and dancing. Surviving are eight children, Mary (Roger) Klunder of Rochester, MN, Paulette (Mike) Smith of Kenosha, Joseph E. Mauldin of Kenosha, Kathy (Jerry) Wheeler of Clarklake, MI, Earnest Chester Oliver III of Green Bay, WI, Frances (Rob) Oliver-Motsenbocker of Norwalk, CA, Andrea Jean Oliver of Kenosha, and P. K. Woodley, Jr. of Kenosha; three brothers, Jimmy (Gwen) Mastronardi of Santee, CA, Joseph Mastronardi of Kenosha, and Andrew (Mary Ann) Mastronardi of Kenosha; a sister, Josephine Bunosso of Derby, CT; 27 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Minnie Berent and Theresa Cowick; a brother, Frank Mastronardi; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 am. Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at St. George Cemetery.
