Russell Petrick, 88, of Kenosha, passed away Friday, April 7th, 2006, at Kenosha Care Center. Born in Depue, IL, on July 25, 1917, he was the son of the late Anton and Julia (Tomaszewicz) Petuch. He came to Kenosha as a young child and was educated in local schools. He served in the US Army during World War II, entering the service on January 29, 1941, and was honorably discharged on October 4, 1945. On December 17, 1977, he married Irene Ory in Kenosha. He had been employed at Chrysler Motors until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of UAW Local 72 retirees and the VFW Post in Pleasant Prairie. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and golfing. Surviving are his wife, Irene of Pleasant Prairie; four stepsons, Joe Bush, Daniel (Marina) Tritten, Sr., Gerry (Lynda) Tritten, all of Kenosha, John (Pamela) Tritten of Pleasant Prairie; a stepdaughter, Marianne DeHart of Kenosha; nine grandchildren, Carrie Petrick of Washington, D.C., Russell Petrick of Kenosha, David Tritten of CA, Daniel Tritten, Jr., of Rosco, IL, Sherry Brown of Sheboygan, WI, Gary Tritten of Kenosha, Christine Juruc of Kenosha, Melanie Stadum of Pleasant Prairie, and John Tritten Jr. of Pleasant Prairie; four step grandchildren, Paul, Kattie, Tyler and Vanessa; two nephews, John Petrick of Anaheim, CA, and Thomas J. Hughes of Schaumberg, IL; and a niece, Cindy Norton of Elkhorn, WI. He was preceded in death by a son, Joe Petrick in 2002; a sister, Olga Hughes; and a brother, Alex Petrick. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 12th, at St. Therese Catholic Church at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Green Ridge Cemetery with full military honors.
