Garrett Miller, 4, passed away at his home from leukemia, with his family and friends at his side on Thursday, April 6th, 2006. He was born in Lake Forest, IL, on September 24, 2001, the son of Gary and Patricia (Grant) Miller. He and his family are members of First Assembly of God. He is survived by his parents, Gary and Patricia Miller and a sister, Grace Ann Miller at home; his maternal grandparents, William and Nancy Grant of Glen Ellyn, IL; paternal grandfather, Joseph Miller of Salem, WI; paternal grandmother, Donalda "Dee" Miller of Kenosha; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents, Leo and Eleanor Korb; maternal great grandparents, William and Rose Grant; and a great uncle, Daniel Grant. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 10th, at First Assembly of God at 1:00 pm. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. I just wanted to let you know that my family will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. We, too, have a 4 year old son and an 8 year old daughter and when I saw this in the paper I had to let you know that your pain can be felt. I am so sorry for your loss. Our friends in Green Bay are going through this right now. Their 4 year old daughter passed away 1 month ago and we are so deeply affected. I can only imagine that everything must feel so raw right now.
