Mary A. Wendt, 86, of Kenosha, passed away Tuesday, April 4th, 2006, at Clairidge House. She was born in Channing, TX, on March 10, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Martha and Earl "Mack" McAllister. She was educated in the school of Oregon, a graduate of McLaughlin Union High School in Milton Freewater, OR. She married Rex Wendt in 1943. He passed away December 24, 1979. She had been employed at the Bus Depot in Albany, OR. Mary liked to sing, her favorite songs were, “God Bless America” and “You Are My Sunshine”. Surviving are five sisters, Glena (Burton) Corsen of San Jose, CA, Athel Mae (George) Boschee, Grace Records and Hazel Creel, and Hazel Creel, all of Milton Freewater, OR. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 10th, at 1:30 pm at Proko Funeral Home. Interment to be private at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
