Richard A. BAILEY
Richard A. Bailey, 51, of Kenosha, passed away Saturday, April 1st, 2006, at his residence. Born December 12, 1954, in Southington, CT, he was the son of the late William and Arlene (Brown) Bailey, Sr. He lived in New York and Illinois before coming to Kenosha in 2004 to make his home. On June 8, 2002, in Geneva, NY, he married Karen DeWolf. He currently was employed as plant manager for BWay Can Corp. Before coming to Kenosha, he worked at Silgan Can Corp in Lyons, NY. He was an avid NASCAR Fan, enjoyed reading, music and his family. Surviving are his wife Karen; four children, Nathan (Tonia) Bailey of Ft. Polk, LA, Ericka Bailey of Milwaukee, WI, Rachael Bailey of Kenosha, and Michelle Lead of Kenosha; eight brothers and sisters, William Bailey, Jr. of Bristol, CT, Marilyn Landry of Woodstock, CT, David Bailey of Phoenix, AZ, Suzanne "Pinky" Dimlow of Florida, Betty Hungerford of Pomfret, CT, Gerald Bailey of Bucksport, ME, Norma Jean Posocco of Willington, CT, and Donald Bailey of Putnum, CT; two grandchildren, Brenna and Brooklyn; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his dear friends, Jimmy Palowski of Connecticut and Kevin Richards of Geneva, IL; his former wife, Cindy Lou Backhaus of West Bend, WI; and his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Dorothy DeWolf of Phelps, NY. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Celeste Stasiewicz.
