Frederick R. "Freddie" Marchese, 62, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, March 18th, 2006, at St. Catherine's Medical Center. Born on November 19, 1943, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Fred and Rose Leona (Perfetto) Marchese. He received his education in local schools and was a lifetime resident of Kenosha. He enlisted in the United States Marines Corps on February 27, 1968. He served in Vietnam and received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, RVN Cross of Gallantry Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and the Navy Achievement Medal with Rifle Marksmanship Badge. He was honorably discharged on February 24, 1974. He was employed as an assembler for American Motors Corporation for 25 years, until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of UAW Local 72 and the Ke-Nash-A Club. He loved hunting, fishing and working on cars. He enjoyed muscle cars and street rods, especially Corvettes. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family and was very enthusiastic about the Cubs, Bears and watching WWF Wrestling on TV. He is survived by his daughter, Leona Marchese of Kenosha; step-daughter, Sherry (Michael) Lyons-Debevec of Iowa; two sisters, Glorine (Ron) Knoerzer of Lake St. Louis, MO, and Renee (Louis) Noto of Kenosha; sister and brother by heart, Celeste (Greg) Sturicz of Kenosha, and Albert (Suk) Kirschling of Navarre, FL; four grandchildren, Robert, LaKeisha, LaQueisha, and Orlando; a niece, Melissa; and three nephews, David, Kevin and Louie. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 21st, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 10:30 am. Due to the Lenten Season, flowers are not accepted in the Church. Interment to follow at St. George Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
