Luigi R. Tarsitano, 84, of Kenosha, passed away Wednesday, March 8th, 2006, at Kenosha Medical Center. Born in Calabria, Prov. of Cosenza, Italy, on March 12, 1921, he was the son of the late Antonio and Raffela Tarsitano. He came to the United States in 1952 to Connecticut and moved to Kenosha in that same year. He had been in the Italian Army during World War II. On April 17, 1951, he married Carmela Bruno. He had been employed as an inspector at American Motors/Chrysler Corp. for over 30 years, retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church and UAW Local #72. He enjoyed his walks, hunting and fishing. He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. Surviving are his wife, Carmela of Kenosha; a son, Frank Tarsitano of San Diego, CA; two daughters, Rita of Kenosha and Nancy (Mike) Kujawa of Kenosha; a sister, Nunziata of Italy; and five grandchildren, Angela (Keith), Jennifer, Rachael, Robert and Russell. He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 13th, at 11:00 am from Proko Funeral Home. Mass to be celebrated at 11:30 am at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Proko Funeral Home. Parish Rosary services will be held at 4:30 pm on Sunday.
