Rita and family, Bob and I were so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I remember so many great stories you told of your dad Rita, that when I saw his picture, he was just as I had him in my mind. You can tell from reading all of the things he did in his life and groups that he was involved with, that he lived a full life and was surrounded always by his family. I pray you find some peace in that. I would love to drive by his house and see Roger's flag flying there. Our thoughts are prayers are with you. Sue and Bob Atkinson

Hi everyone, I found out after flying a mission in Iraq that Grandpa passed away. It is sad to see him go, but I know he is going to a better place. I will miss taking about flying airplanes with him and the places we have been to. I will miss him. I spoke to him the day before I left, just over 2 weeks ago. He sounded tired, but happy that I called. I was hoping to see him again when I returned. When I get home, I would like to fly a flag on his flagpole that I've been carrying on my flights over here. That flag started in Qatar, flew to Iran, Iraq, Afgahnistan, Kyrgystan, Uzbekistan, Kuwait, Greece, Turkey, Germany, Spain, Iceland, Ireland, Africa, and I would like its final flight on Grandpa's flagpole. Send me your e-mail addresses and I will send you all some pictures from out here. Take care everyone, and I'll see you all this summer.Roger
