Emil PASTOREK, JR.

Emil Pastorek, Jr., 82, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, February 18th, 2006, at his residence. Born on October 6, 1923, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Emil and Anna (Tutlewski) Pastorek, Sr. He was a lifetime resident of Kenosha. He served in the Army as a radio operator for the combat cargo squadrons in the China-Burma-India Theatre during World War II. He was honorably discharged on July 4, 1945. On February 22, 1947, he married Fay G. Fisher of Tampa, FL, at Trinity Lutheran Parsonage. She preceded him in death on April 6, 2001. He was employed as a supervisor in the paint department of AMC for 34 years. He was a former member of VFW Post 1865. He is survived by his two sons, Fred (Arlene) Pastorek of Grafton, WI, and James (Sheryl) Pastorek of Anaheim, CA; two brothers, Joseph (Beverly) Pastorek of Racine, and Ronald Thomas of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Tracey Hanke, and Matthew, Sarah, Amanda, and Jonathan Pastorek; and one great-grandchild, Cheyenne Hanke. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23rd, at Proko Funeral Home at 12:00 noon. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
