Alois Joseph ARZT
Alois J. Arzt, 71, of Kenosha, passed away Monday, February 13th, 2006, at St. Catherine's Medical Center. Born in Kendall, WI, on August 18, 1934, he was the son of the late Oswald and Marie (Betthauser) Arzt. He attended the schools of Kendall, graduating from Kendall High School in 1953. He was in the United States Army from June 14, 1957, until his honorable discharge of May 28, 1959, serving in Germany. In August of 1962, he married Mary Flock at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Norwalk, WI. She passed away in December of 1990. He had been employed at American Motors Corp, retiring in 1986. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Kenosha, UAW Local 72 Retirees, and enjoyed woodworking, clock making, and also was a history buff. Surviving are a sister, Margaret Arzt of new Berlin, WI; two brothers, John (Karen) of Kendall and Albert (Julie) Arzt of Kenosha; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Arzt. Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16th, at the Proko Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a prayer vigil service to be held at 5:30 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 18th, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Kendall at 11:00 am with visitation at the Church from 10:00 am until the time of the Mass.
