Jack Villella, 84, of Kenosha, passed away Wednesday, December 21st, 2005, at Kenosha Medical Center. Born in Kenosha on July 27, 1921, he was the son of the late Frank and Josephine (Mancusi) Villella. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, he was educated in local schools. On November 10, 1942, he entered the United States Army. During his service he received the Good Conduct Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. Jack was honorably discharged on February 17, 1946, with the rank of Technician Fifth Grade from Battery B-224th Anti Aircraft Artillery Searchlight Battalion. On February 7, 1944, he married Jessie Mae Cross. She passed away September 4, 1981. Jack had been the owner and operator of Jacks Auto Body on 30th Avenue for over 30 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. He was a member of the American Legion Post 21 in Kenosha. Jack liked to cook and bake. He was a craftsman in all trades and enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs games. He is survived by two daughters, Josephine (Zoll) Villella of Seattle, WA, and Jacquelyn (Larry) Johnson of Kenosha; two sisters, Jane Santopoalo of Kenosha, and Lena Santopoalo of St. Petersburg, FL; and four grandchildren, Harold and Kim Zoll, Erika Nemeth and Brian Thielen. He was preceded in death by a son, Jerome Villella; two brothers, Dominic and Charlie Villella; and two sisters, Caroline Porcaro and Margaret Villella. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, December 23rd, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:30 pm until the time of the Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church.
