Eva M. Principe, 86, of Kenosha, passed away Sunday, December 18th, 2005, at Sheridan Medical Complex. Born on April 7, 1919, in Houghton, MI, she was the daughter of the late Maurizio and Luisa (Ghera) Andreoni. She moved to Kenosha as a young child and was educated in local schools, graduating from Kenosha High School in 1937. On October 19, 1940, she married Joseph Principe at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She worked at Full Fashion Mills in Kenosha and later at S.S. Kresge, and the Kenosha Kmart, retiring from Kmart after 25 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Kenosha Senior Citizens Council, and the Senior Action Council. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, and crocheting. Survivors include her husband, Joseph of Kenosha; a son, Richard (Sandra) Principe of Kenosha; a daughter, Judith (Melvin) Peterson of Kenosha; three sisters, Eda Santoni of Kenosha, Elia (Freeman) Watkins of Calimesa CA, and Elda Peterson of Friendship, WI; two grandsons, Steven Principe and Travis Peterson; and a granddaughter, Amanda Peterson. She was preceded in death by a brother in infancy. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 21st, from the Proko Funeral Home at 9:30 am. Mass to be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment to take place at St. George Cemetery.
