Anna Jayne Ziarko, 82, of Kenosha, passed away Tuesday, November 22nd, 2005, at her residence. Born on August 6, 1923, in Wildwood, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Harry M. and Marie Seckinger. Jayne was educated in the schools of Wildwood, later moving to Lansing, IL, and come to Kenosha in 1993 to make her home. On December 14, 1943, in Norfolk, VA, she married Mitchell J. Ziarko, Sr. Jayne and her husband had been the owners and operators of Gentry's Discount Department Store in Lansing, IL, retiring in 1993. Jayne attended St. Therese Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren's sporting events, cooking, and visiting her daughter and son-in-law in California. Survivors include her husband, Mitchell Sr. of Kenosha; a son, Dr. Mitchell (Gloria) Ziarko, Jr. of Kenosha; a daughter, Sue (Mike) Davia of San Diego, CA; two grandchildren, Christopher M. and Michelle Anna Ziarko; and four nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Mrs. "Dot" Rothermel of New Jersey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 26th, at St. Therese Catholic Church at 9:30 am. Interment to be private at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. Visitation will be held at St. Therese Catholic Church on Saturday from 8:30 am until the time of the Mass.
