Iluminada Ruiz, 66, of Kenosha, passed away Wednesday, November 16th, 2005, at her residence. Born on August 1, 1939, in Arecibo, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Domingo Ruiz and Rosa Gonzalez. She was educated in the schools of Puerto Rico before coming to Philadelphia in 1978, Chicago in 1980, and to Kenosha in 1986. She was a member of Ministerio Oracion Y Fuego (Pentecostal Church) where she was very active as a deacon. She enjoyed helping others, cooking, and spending time with her family. Surviving are four sons, Eugenio of Kenosha, Angel (Blanca Y.) of Gurnee, IL, Emmanuel (Maribel) of Salem, and Alexander of Kenosha; five daughters, Marisol Ruiz, Carmen (Samuel) Albert, Frances (Miguel) Rosales, and Rosa (Rolando) Torres all of Kenosha, and Victoria (Roberto) Vargas of Yorktown, TX; four brothers; two sisters; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her father; husband; a brother; a son, Roberto B. Ruiz; and a grandson, Johnny Medina. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20th, at Ministerio Oracion Y Fuego (Pentecostal Church) on the corner of 65th Street and 20th Avenue beginning at 5:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21st, at the church from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon.
