Viola Dumesic, 93, of Kenosha, passed away Saturday, November 5th, 2005, at Brookside Care Center. Born in Kenosha on August 15, 1912, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Frances Tenuta. A lifelong resident of Kenosha, she was educated in local schools. On October 7, 1937, in Crown Point, IN, she married Joseph Dumesic. He passed away September 11, 1968. She worked at Bullen Junior High School as a cashier in the lunchroom. Viola was a member of the Italian American Ladies Auxiliary, Catholic Order of Forresters, and the St. Catherine's Hospital Auxiliary. Survivors include a son, Keith Dumesic of Kenosha; a daughter, Frances (Richard) Karwatka of Kenosha; a brother, Joseph Tenuth of Lacey, WA; a sister, Mary Nylund of Deerfield, IL; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were three sisters, Jessie Lia, Josephine Fink, and Ida Farrell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, November 8th, at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 12:00 noon. Interment to be private at St. George Cemetery.
