Sibylla Mary LEFEBVRE
Sibylla M. Lefebvre, 98, of Kenosha, passed away Friday, November 4th, 2005, at her residence. Born November 1, 1907, in Sturgeon Bay, WI, she was the daughter of the late Matthew and Angeline (Peot) Marik. As a child, she moved to Green Bay where she attended St. John's Grade School and St. Joseph's Academy for Girls, where she received her degree in piano and pipe organ. In 1926, she moved to Milwaukee and came to Kenosha to make her home in 1933. For the last 13 years, she spent her winters in Arizona. On June 22, 1929, she married Edward Myron Lefebvre at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Milwaukee. She was employed by Fuchs Jewelry Store while living in Milwaukee and as a cashier at JC Pennys in Kenosha for 13 years. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church and the church choir, the Daughters of Isabella and Christian Women's Clubs, Wisconsin Bell Pioneers, and JC Pennys Retirees. Survivors include a son, Phillip E. (Sandra) Lefebvre of Waukesha; a daughter, Gail (F. James) Walker of Kenosha; six grandchildren, Scott Seidl, Paul (Elizabeth Jammond) Seidl Lefebvre, Barbara (Mark) Wolff, Mark (Jacqui) Lefebvre, Kathleen (Bruce) Everly, and Theresa (Jason) Worrall; and 12 great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her husband; a daughter, Ruth Ann Eischeid; and a son Paul J. Lefebvre. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 11, at St. Mark's Catholic Church at 10:00 am. Interment to follow at St. James Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass.
