Leroy H. Hoff, Jr., 76, of Pleasant Prairie, passed away Monday, October 17th, 2005, at St. Catherine's Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Born June 5, 1929, in Kenosha, he was the son of the late Leroy H. and Gladys (Schmidt) Hoff, Sr. A lifetime resident of Kenosha, he was educated in the local schools. Employed as a maintenance truck driver at American Motors Corp. for 30 years, he retired in 1977. He was a former member of Grace Lutheran Church and the UAW Local 72 Retirees. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. Survivors include two sons, Gerald "Jerry" (Christy) Hoff of Kenosha and Donald Hoff of Neenah Menasha; two sisters, Virginia (Richard) Oechler of Kenosha and Doris (Frank) Smaniotto of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Renee Hoff, Randy Hoff, Heidi Hoff, Kelsey Hoff, and Jered Hoff; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 20th, at the Proko Funeral Home at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
