Stuart and I were saddended, Robin, to hear about your mother's passing. We hope it brings comfort knowing she is with the Lord and she is out of pain and suffering. Since I've gotten to know you through your marriage to Jim, I've can tell what a lovely person your mother was just because of the awesome daughter she raised. Our deepest sympathy to you and Jim. I am so saddened by the loss of my "second mom". I have known LaVerne since 1973 when I was 12 years old. LaVerne's daughter Robin and I became Jr. High friends that year and have been friends since.Mrs. Weiss was never one to complain, even while in pain these last months. LaVerne also put everyone else's needs first before her own.I know Robin and her mom were very close and so this loss is one that is great for her, and I feel especially sad right now as well.I am so grateful that I was able to fly to Robin and husband Jim's wedding reception in June 2004. I was able to see and visit with Mrs. Weiss who looked radiant in her gown that night.God Bless all of the family at this sad time. My dear, dear friend Robin and her wonderful husband Jim, her brothers Cole and Michael, and Aunt Lil, as well as cousins and other aunts and uncles.LaVerne Weiss was one of God's Angels and he has called her home.
