Joseph Longo, 80, of Kenosha, passed away Thursday (July 28th, 2005) at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Wauwatosa. Born in Taormina, Sicily on January 23, 1925, he was educated in the schools of Italy, coming to Kenosha in April of 1964 to make his home. On August 9, 1959, in Novara, Italy, he married Rosalie Grimaldi. He and his wife owned and operated their own tailor shop "Joe's & Rosalie's Tailor Shop” in Waukegan, IL. He was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church. Besides his wife, his garden was his pride and joy. He loved to trout and perch fish in Lake Michigan. Surviving are a daughter, Anna Longo of Lake Villa, IL; a son, Stephen (Christy Hunter) Longo of Madison; a brother, Rosario (Carmen) Longo of Italy; a granddaughter, Makayla; a nephew, Gian (Rosie) Longo of Italy; and a great niece. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 1st, at 12:00 Noon at St. Mark's Catholic Church. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of the Mass at St. Mark's Church.
