Anthony COVELLI
Anthony Covelli, 79, of Kenosha, passed away Thursday (June 30th, 2005) at his residence. Born January 28, 1926, in Marano Principato, Provence of Cosenza, Italy, he was the son of Nunziato and Fortuna (Esposito) Covelli. He was educated in the schools of Italy, coming to Kenosha February 17, 1966 to make his home. On January 20, 1957, in Italy, he married Lidia Ruffolo. She passed away February 4, 1993. He had been employed by American Motors Corp. He retired in 1975. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and the Italian American Society. Anthony enjoyed gardening and wine making. He was a "Great" grandfather. Surviving are his mother, Fortuna Covelli of Kenosha; a daughter, Nina (Mario) Ruffolo of Atlanta, GA; a son, Nunzio (Francesca) Covelli of Kenosha; three sisters, Rose Vitaro, Irma (Ildo) Miceli, and Valentina (Domenic) Molinaro, all of Kenosha; four brothers, Mario (Betty), Aldo (Maria), Luigi (Delores), and Elio (Sue) Covelli, all of Kenosha; and seven grandchildren, Allie, Cassidy, Antonio, Michael, Serafino, Francesco and Nicholas. He was preceded in death by his father; a son, Nunziato in infancy; and a brother, Francesco. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 5th, from Proko Funeral Home at 9 a.m. Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Entombment at All Saints Mausoleum.
