Rosemary Stella, 83, of Somers, passed away Friday (February 18th, 2005) at her residence. Born on February 5, 1922, in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Somone and Amelia (Asta) Costanzo. She was a lifelong resident of Kenosha and was educated in local schools. On January 29, 1944, in Kenosha, she married Louis Stella, just celebrating their 61st anniversary. Since 1954, she, along with her husband, owned and operated Casa Capri Restaurant. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and the Mt. Carmel Ladies Society. She enjoyed ceramics and spending time with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Louis of Somers; two sons, Lewis "Butch" (Jan) of Kenosha, and Tony (Judy) of Somers; a daughter, Sandy (Dave) Bastianelli of Kenosha; a sister, Julia (Ben) Covelli of Kenosha; a brother, Paul (Ann) Costanzo of Kenosha; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria DiBella. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, February 22nd, from Proko Funeral Home. Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday at Proko Funeral Home.
