John Terwall, 87, of Kenosha, died Tuesday (December 28th, 2004) at Grande Prairie Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Kenosha on March 23, 1917, he was the son of the late Theodore and Minnie (DeVries) Terwall. He was a graduate of Kenosha High School. On June 4, 1942, he was drafted in the Army Air Corps. He served as an airplane and engine mechanic until his honorable discharge Nov. 14, 1945, as a corporal. He worked as a sales manager for Sears in Kenosha for 30 years until his retirement in 1980. An avid golfer and golf enthusiast, he enjoyed taking fishing trips to Northern Wisconsin. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara (Mark) Lassen of Pleasant Prairie, and Kathleen (Ronald) Ruhle of Orlando, FL; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Preceding him in death were a son, Larry Terwall; three brothers, Edward, Walter and William Terwall; a sister, Bessie Tinker; granddaughter, Lisa Ruhle; and a grandson, Shane Lassen.
