Loretta Sampson-Jackson, 59, of Kenosha, died Wednesday (October 27th, 2004) at Washington Manor. Born in Chicago on Oct. 15, 1945, she was the daughter of Alfred and Daisy (Blackburn) Sampson. She was educated in the Chicago schools and earned an associate’s degree in data processing. She lived in Kenosha the past 11 years. On June 20, 1998, she married Carey L. Jackson. She worked as office manager for Priority Systems of Northbrook, IL, until 2000. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, and the Parent Teacher Student Organization at Holy Rosary school and Indian Trail Academy. Survivors include her husband, of Kenosha; her mother, of Kenosha; a son, Merlin Lewis Jackson of Kenosha; a daughter, Ryan Elizabeth Petit-Frere of Madison; three brothers, Maurice Sampson of Los Angeles, Ralph Blackburn of Los Angeles, and Robert Sampson of Bellwood, IL. Preceding her in death were her father and two brothers, Samuel and Lamaze Sampson.
