Giannina LEONARDI
Giannina Leonardi, 75, of Kenosha, died Sunday (September 19th, 2004) at Kenosha Medical Center. Born on Dec. 31, 1928, in Monte Fortino, Province of Ascoli Piceno, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria (Rinaldi) Censori. She was educated in Italy. On Feb. 9, 1950, she married Nicola Leonardi in Monte Fortino, Italy, at Santa Maria Church. She came to Kenosha in 1957. For many years she worked as a chef for Greco's Italian Restaurant. She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking and gardening. Survivors include her husband of Kenosha; a son, Joseph Anthony (Katrina Whitten) Leonardi of Kenosha; three daughters, Mary A. Ferraro of Kenosha, Josephine (Rick) Tucker of Racine, and Theresa (Ron) Allen of Kenosha; three brothers, Filippo, Giovanni and Pietro Censori, all of Italy; and three grandchildren, Louis (Julie) Ferraro, Amy Jo (Andrew) Miller, and Flora (Mark) Ward. Preceding her in death was a son-in-law, Tony Ferraro. Proko Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.LEONARDI: Funeral services for Mrs. Nicola (Giannina) Leonardi will be held on Wednesday, September 22nd, at Proko Funeral Home and Crematory, 5111-60th St., at 9:30 AM. Mass to be celebrated at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 10: 00 AM. Entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
