Paul Stern, 91, of Kenosha, died Monday (September 13th, 2004) at Washington Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born in West Bend on July 30, 1913, he was the son of the late Herman and Katherine (Kurtz) Stern. He moved with his family to Kenosha in 1918, and was educated in local schools. On Oct. 5, 1941, he married Sally Stinefast at St. John's Lutheran Church in West Bend. For 50 years he worked as a foreman for Werner Dry Cleaners, retiring in 1982. He was a member of First Congregational Church. Survivors include his wife of Kenosha; a son, Dr. Jerry (Anne) Stern of Racine; and three grandchildren, Janelle, Christopher and Andrea. Preceding him in death were two brothers, William and Herman Stern; and two sisters, Ella Bradshaw and Elizabeth Tianen. Proko Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.STERN: Funeral services for Mr. Paul Stern will be held on Thursday, September 16th, at 11:30 AM at Proko Funeral Home and Crematory 5111-60th St. Interment to follow at Green Ridge Cemetery.
