Donn Kenneth Beck

1945 ∼ 2026

Donn Kenneth Beck

Donn Beck passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, at the age of 80 years.

Born on October 25, 1945, Donn was the son of John and Helen (Luell) Beck. He proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1963 to 1966. One of the highlights of his later years was participating in an Honor Flight, an experience made possible through the generosity of Snap-on Tools, which he treasured deeply.

On July 27, 1968, Donn married the love of his life, Lynn Ashmus, in Kenosha. Together they built a loving home and raised two children, creating a lifetime of memories with family and friends.

Donn enjoyed a successful career with Johnson Wax for thirty-eight years, where he served in many different capacities. His final position was responsible for North American Walgreens Corporation. His career took him and his family to Chicago, Minneapolis, Toronto, and eventually back home to Kenosha.

Outside of work, Donn embraced life with enthusiasm. He loved spending time fishing, golfing, woodworking, and playing cards, especially the beloved Wisconsin game of Sheepshead. He was a devoted Green Bay Packers fan who rarely missed a game and always enjoyed listening to classic rock.

Above all, Donn was a caring, fun-loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He will be remembered for his kindness, his easy smile, and his unwavering love for his family.

The family would like to thank the staff of Aurora at Home Hospice for all of the care and compassion they gave to Donn.

Donn is survived by his wife Lynn Beck; children, Kimmberly Peters and Matthew (Nicole) Beck; grandchildren, Jada, Jalynn, Julia, Ethan, and Brynn; and brother, John (Kris) Beck of Pennsylvania. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Donn was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Beck.

A memorial visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at the Proko Funeral Home.
