Cheryl Lynn Cibrario

1948 ∼ 2026

Cheryl Lynn Cibrario

Cheryl L. Cibrario, 78, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

Born on April 13, 1948, in Kenosha, Cheryl was the daughter of Eugene and Josephine (Burlingham) Fox. She grew up in Kenosha and was a member of the first graduating class of Tremper High School. Following graduation, she enrolled in beauty school. Cheryl worked at several local salons before stepping away from full-time work to raise her family. Even while caring for her children, she continued serving loyal clients from her home for many years.

Cheryl met the love of her life, Bill Cibrario, shortly before he was deployed to Vietnam. Their love endured the distance, and the couple was married on June 6, 1970. Together they raised their three sons. Bill remained the love of Cheryl's life for over 50 years.

In her spare time, Cheryl enjoyed crocheting. She crafted blankets, dish rags, potholders, slippers, and many other practical gifts that family and friends continue to treasure.

A woman of faith, Cheryl was active in several churches throughout the years. She found comfort in prayer and faithfully opened her home to host a weekly prayer meeting.

Cheryl is survived by her sons, Billy Cibrario, Bryon Cibrario, and Matt Cibrario; and her grandchildren, Arun, Anjali, and Bryan. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bill; and brothers, Charles “Chuck” Fox, and Eugene “Butch” Fox, Jr.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2026 at Proko Funeral Home.
